Valparaiso Identification Program (VIP):

An alternative to the customary summer soccer camp experience, the 2010 Valpo Soccer VIP offers the serious high school soccer athlete a focused curriculum designed to assist them as they engage in the college search process. The Valpo Soccer VIP schedule is thoughtfully constructed to maximize the overall experience while purposely not detracting from an already busy summer club soccer schedule.

Valpo Soccer VIP players will be exposed to high level technical and tactical training presented by current collegiate head and assistant coaches. These training sessions will expose the VIP player to a college level performance expectation, and will provide the VIP staff an opportunity to evaluate the player's college soccer potential. Each Valpo Soccer VIP participant will be provided with immediate feedback, presented in both written form and by way of individual counseling sessions with the coaching staff. All players will have a face to face discussion with their VIP coach before leaving camp.

Valpo Soccer VIP's will also attend seminars and discussion groups that cover a variety of topics related to life as a college athlete, personal development, sport psychology, and the college search process. The combination of on the field and off the field instruction effectively immerses the participants in an environment that simulates the typical routine of a college athlete. All VIP participants' housing and meals are included in their camp fee.

The VIP curriculum is designed for any high school players who are very serious about playing at elite levels of competition . Space in the 2010 Valpo Soccer VIP is limited to ensure that each player receives individual attention to his particular college search and is provide with immediate feedback before leaving campus.

Camp Staff Information: Under the leadership of Valparaiso University Head Soccer Coach Mike Avery and Assistant Coach and VIP Director Jeff Oleck, the 2010 Soccer VIP Staff will feature current college head and assistant coaches.

Cancellation Policy:
*Camp tuition less a $50 processing fee will be returned if notification occurs prior to the following dates.
            -June 1, 2010 for VIP Session 1
            -July 1, 2010 for VIP Session 2
 *No refunds shall be granted after the aforementioned dates.
